​Heather Gerard-Peabody created The Peabody Players with the intent of connecting an increasingly disconnected world through laughter.  Heather got her first laugh at the ripe age of 6 months old, and the rest is history.  She brings with her more than twenty years of performance experience across the Midwest and New York.  Heather’s background includes comedy, musical theater, television commercials, and film.  

Peabody is a professional stand-up and improv comedian, performed the role of Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray at the Chanhassen Dinner Theaters, and was even cast in an episode of "Law and Order."  She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and holds a BS degree (insert joke here) in Journalism and Theater from UW-River Falls.
